Practical software guides
Accessibility includes the interface and the way service is delivered. A support-request view can help staff coordinate an agreed adjustment, but it should not collect diagnoses merely to make the dashboard feel complete.
| Field | Example |
|---|---|
| Requested support | Quiet waiting area if available |
| Consent and purpose | Explain which staff need the request |
| Staff view | Assigned action; no unnecessary medical history |
| Guest update | Availability confirmed or alternative offered |
| Retention | Remove when no longer required under the approved policy |
Offer an assisted phone or in-person route. A request should not fail because the guest cannot complete a challenge, upload a document or use a particular device. Test labels, focus order, zoom, contrast and readable status messages.
Use W3C WCAG guidance for web accessibility and involve disabled users or a qualified accessibility practitioner in testing. This specimen does not claim compliance, report user tests or rely on an unverified local training announcement. Staff must know the approved response when the requested support is unavailable.
