Privacy Policy
Effective date: 7 October 2026
Caynetic Ltd. is based in The Bahamas. This policy explains how we handle information when you visit caynetic.com, tech.caynetic.com or oss.caynetic.com, submit an enquiry, or contact us about our business and services.
This policy does not describe account, payment, subscription or in-product activity for our separate products. See the respective privacy notices for CayneticVPN, Serve the Cays and CaribbeanSaaS. Product age requirements also apply separately.
Information you provide
Our website enquiry forms require your name, email address and enquiry. Phone number, business or organisation, and website are optional. Software enquiries also offer optional product, team size and timeline questions. Tech enquiries offer an optional service choice. Required fields are marked. These details help us understand and respond to your request.
Please provide only what is needed to explain your request. Do not include passwords, payment card details, private client or case records, or other sensitive information in general enquiry forms.
When you email us, we receive your email address, message and any attachments. If you contact us through WhatsApp or Facebook, we receive the contact or account details and content you share through that channel. We occasionally use Facebook lead forms; the questions shown on each form explain what it requests. Those platforms also handle information under their own policies.
How we handle enquiries
We use your information to respond, clarify your requirements, discuss a possible project or service, and keep relevant business records. We also use technical information to operate the websites, prevent spam and abuse, and investigate delivery or security problems.
Accepted website enquiries are stored in our systems and may also be sent to a Caynetic mailbox so we can respond. We keep records needed to handle enquiries and investigate delivery problems.
Website security, cookies and analytics
We use website security services to protect our websites and help distinguish people from automated submissions. These services process technical information such as your IP address, browser information, request details, and browser and connection signals. They use these signals to detect bots and improve their bot detection.
Security services can set cookies to recognise a browser that has passed their checks. These cookies support website protection.
To help prevent duplicate enquiries, the form keeps a temporary pending-delivery flag in your browser tab. It contains no name, contact details, enquiry text or verification token. The flag is cleared after confirmed acceptance or a definite rejection and normally lasts only for that tab session. If delivery is uncertain, sending stays paused so you can contact us to check it.
We use website analytics for aggregate visit and performance information. This analytics service does not use cookies or localStorage, or fingerprint visitors for analytics. We do not use advertising cookies on these websites.
You can manage cookies through your browser. Blocking security cookies or scripts may affect access or form verification.
Third-party services
We use third-party online services to operate our websites and manage enquiries and communications. Some of these services process or store information outside The Bahamas. For more information about our providers and how they handle your information, contact us at legal@caynetic.com.
We do not sell your enquiry information. We may share it where necessary to handle your request, comply with law, protect our rights or respond to a security incident.
Security and retention
We use access controls and other safeguards to protect information in our systems. We restrict access for relevant business purposes.
We keep information for the purposes described here, including responding to enquiries, managing business relationships, meeting legal obligations and resolving disputes. How long it is needed depends on the enquiry and any work that follows. Stored records, mailbox copies, provider records and backups may have different retention periods. Archiving a record does not erase it.
Your information and requests
You can contact us to request access to your personal information, correction of inaccurate information, or deletion where applicable. You can also ask us to stop using your details for direct marketing. We may need reasonable information to verify your identity and locate the relevant records.
We handle requests under applicable law. We may limit a request only where applicable law permits, including to protect other people's rights or meet legal obligations. If we cannot fulfil a request, we explain the reason and applicable complaint options. You may also raise a data-protection complaint with the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner in The Bahamas.

We update this page when our practices change and show the revised effective date.
