Practical software guides
A model subscription is one dependency in a product. The buyer also needs approved data, permissions, evaluation, integration failure handling and maintenance. None of those elements guarantees a defensible business or survival in the market.
| Dependency | Test |
|---|---|
| Data/source | Version and permission are known |
| Model/provider | Retention and availability limits reviewed |
| Evaluation | Unsupported answer and stale-source cases checked |
| Integration | Duplicate and failed calls handled |
| Recovery | Access revoked and fallback task demonstrated |
An ordinary rules engine may be adequate for fixed decisions. For variable text, a bounded draft can be useful if a person can check it efficiently. Compare the complete ownership effort rather than assuming a larger stack creates an advantage.
Our internal CRM history demonstrates reducing scope rather than building infrastructure for its own sake. The differentiation map helps compare what a standard platform covers with the work still needed. No market-survival prediction or product-performance metric is asserted.
