Practical software guides
A secure intake layer can coordinate a financial-services file. It must not replace the institution’s identity, suitability, compliance, lending or disbursement decisions. Faster completion has to be measured, not assumed.
| State | Applicant sees | Reviewer sees |
|---|---|---|
| Received | Reference and next step | Assigned case and approved checklist version |
| Evidence requested | Required document and secure delivery route | Reason and authorised reviewer |
| Under review | Review in progress | Checks, exceptions and restricted notes |
| Decision recorded | Approved institution wording | Authorised decision and source evidence |
Mortgage variation
A synthetic mortgage file adds valuation, legal conditions and disbursement dependencies. A scanned valuation is not automatically authentic or current. Qualified staff verify source, conditions and authority before any release of funds. Keep the loan system as the authority for the loan, not a second portal’s status label.
Client-transition variation
After a system or organisational change, assign responsibility for each existing case, map old references to new ones and test document access. Separate customer-safe updates from staff-only risk notes. A copied record must not silently broaden who can view it.
Define retention and approved document authenticity checks with the institution’s specialists. The Central Bank of The Bahamas is the official regulatory starting point; this design specimen is not a regulatory checklist or compliance certification. Test forwarded links, role changes and revoked reviewer access with synthetic records.
