A vendor-onboarding and incident specimen for tourism software, with safety authority kept outside the app.

Practical software guides

A booking record cannot certify an activity as safe. Software can show what evidence was reviewed, what is missing and who is authorised to stop a booking or escalate an incident.

Synthetic activity-vendor review
CheckEvidence and boundary
Licence and insuranceCurrent issuer/provider evidence reviewed by the responsible person
Activity constraintsQualified operator’s approved limits
Emergency routeApproved contact and escalation; tested outside the booking app
Guest support needMinimum necessary information, restricted role and consent review
IncidentControlled record; no public guest-health details

In a fictional excursion, the vendor’s insurance evidence expires before departure. The system holds confirmation for human review. It must not “approve” the activity because the guest has paid. A qualified operator determines the safe and lawful action.

Test expired and mismatched evidence, an unavailable approver and an incident while offline. Review current licensing requirements with the actual authority and insurer. The specimen is neither a safety procedure nor a Caynetic activity-operator case study.
