When Flights Shift, Can Your Property Rebuild the Week in One Place?

A fictional guest-arrival change across PMS, deposit, transfer and offline fallback.

Practical software guides

For an island property, a flight change can affect room readiness, deposits and transfer arrangements. Coordinate those tasks without changing airline entitlements or inventing supplier availability.

Synthetic booking B-014 changes arrival day
TaskCheck
PMS bookingAuthorised change and confirmed room availability
DepositProvider transaction and actual booking terms
TransferSupplier confirms the new time; old booking cancelled deliberately
Guest noticeApproved itinerary and contact route; delivery checked
Offline fallbackMinimal protected arrival list with last-checked timestamp

If the PMS cannot confirm the new room, show a pending decision. Do not send a confident itinerary based on a draft calendar. A repeated supplier update should not create two transfers or duplicate guest messages.

Direct-booking variation

A direct booking still needs deposit confirmation and a reliable arrival. That does not prove better search conversion or lower acquisition cost. Measure enquiry-to-booking separately from arrival incidents and repeat bookings over stated dates.

Keep guest-health/support details purpose-limited and available only to authorised staff. Confirm supplier and property terms for refunds and changes. Airline obligations remain carrier-, route- and jurisdiction-specific. The guest recovery guide handles the property’s response after disruption; no PMS integration or performance result is claimed by this specimen.
