Practical software guides

An AI draft should not invent availability, prices or cancellation terms. Keep those facts in approved supplier data and use deterministic checks for arithmetic and dates.

Fictional quote Q-028

Supplier sourceRate sheet revision 3, valid through the stated date
Quantity/price2 places × B$80 = B$160 before specified extras
AvailabilitySupplier confirmation required; no invented live inventory
Draft explanationHuman checks source and recipient
ApprovalReviewed final quote and source version retained

A useful failed-answer test asks for a discount absent from the rate sheet. The assistant must flag the missing authority rather than supply a plausible number. Another test uses an expired source; the quote should remain on hold.

Measure price/date errors, corrections and total review time against manual quoting. Do not interpret fluent wording as reliability. The itinerary change guide covers approved changes after quoting, and the escalation matrix covers action authority. This is an illustrative workflow, not a tested customer implementation.
