The 2026 Throne Speech describes intended rental-registration and tenancy-authority measures. That announcement alone does not establish commencement, implementing rules or duties for a particular property. Keep tenant identity, lease and access instructions away from a public property board. A vendor sees only the assigned task. Have a qualified adviser determine entry, notice, repair and retention obligations from the actual law and agreement.
